Many years ago, a man named Charles Summa, a disabled WWII Veteran was in search for a way to provide for his family.
In 1963, he and his wife Rosemary decided to open a hot dog stand located in Brentwood, Long Island, NY.  
What started as a small pushcart quickly grew into the Famous Charlie’s Hot Dogs, serving many generations of Long Islanders for over 50 years.
Charlie’s Legendary® Onions were a marvel hit, his biggest success to date. The family has not only revived Charlie’s recipe, but Charlie's HOT DOG TRUCK, ready to share it with the world once again!
